The best feature of the Parador of Toledo, besides its quality like that of all the Paradors have to offer, is its location. The marvelous panoramic view that you have from this cigarral is remarkable. The hotel was built in the 1960s on a hill found on the other side of the river in the traditional cigarral, or country-house, style. Its most recent reformation has converted it into a modern and functional hotel without losing the charm of its typical Castilla-La Mancha architecture. Its only downside is that it is located outside of the historic center on the other side of the river and you need a car or taxi to get to the center. Other than that, if there is one thing that a Parador Nacional has, it´s charm.
